If Shen scaled better with AP he could build items such as Gunblade, Protobelt, Nashor's tooth. It would open up a lot of build paths for him. He could build some AP items and some tank items. He won't be as tanky but he'll do more damage. Here are some possible changes that would encourage Shen to build more AP: Passive: +20% AP shield strength Q: + 10% AP bonus on-hit damage E: + 30% AP damage

Killer of Night91 votesActually idk why i should build ap item on shen (his kit is frontloaded tanky). Maybe a nashor tooth for replace titanic but this would make his waweclear worse. Better ap ratio would open him surely on urf. What i wanted is an AD ratio on his Q so he can get bruiser option (sterak/Trinity/titanic/frozen mallet)
And A Real Hiero1 votesHe already has pretty good scaling, its just that ap is a wasted stat on him as a tank. +2% max health on procced Q's per 100 ap, 135% scaling on his ult. I'd rather he get some AD scaling or more HP scaling.
