Unpopular Opinion: Guardian Angel is a really stupid item

Although I am sure everyone agrees its not overwhelmingly strong, the item is still really stupid to play against

Seeing that white circle around an enemy champion is so demotivating, and tempts you to completely ignore them, as they are invincible, and require so many resources to take down

To fix it, I think the resurrection time should be lowered down to a second or less, that way they don't have the ability to suicide and become immune to damage for so long. This way, it saves them from death, but its no longer such a large nuisance to deal with, as it becomes less of a hassle to focus an enemy with GA

Or we could make it a complete defensive item again and not a defensive/damage item.

Guardian Angel was more balanced when it was a purely defensive ítem.

Now buying it with an AP champion is borderline trolling, while every ADC buys it at some point of the game because "why not?"

Yeah, that is an unpopular opinion unlike most threads with titles like this... I personally disagree because I think we need more items like GA which provide utility/protection to carries instead of pure multiplicative offense or sustain that scales with offense (lifesteal).

only thing I could think as a nerf would be to put on hold their cooldowns while ressurecting maybe not even as a nerf, ud buff the item stat wise in turn

The previous GA was fair but the current GA is fragging dumb. Its a stronger zilean ult most of the time.

It probably wouldnt be good but I'm curious how the item would be if instead of reviving you were you died you just instantly respawned at base right after?
