won't be able to go tank-sassin anymore right? It'd be really great if they mainly built damage in the future and try to outplay you like they are supposed to instead of building full tank and killing your backline.

I do that on bruisers/tanks. Even with only one single damage item it's really easy since their backline is really squishy and deals very quickly even if you aren't an assassin
Edge of Daybreak1 votesConsidering the fact that riot fixed zero issues of ap ekko with this rework I dont see why players would stop playing bruiser ekko.
As for fizz it's a numbers game. if his ap build doesn't one shot you then he would have to build bruiser to actually stay in fights as ap fizz would just fail to kill you and die instantly.
