We need a secondary ban phase phase for double bans

The reality is that the 10 bans we have now is more like 7 or 8 at best and sometimes even 5 or 6 because certain bans are so popular that both teams end up banning the same champs most of the time. It feels really bad when your ban gets doubled and it feels like you wasted your ban. I think adding a second ban phase where the doubled picks were able to be chosen again one at a time would be a small step to adding more variety in champ choice. At most it would add another minute to the game which at this point with games ending faster I don't think is that much of a downside. Thoughts?

Or Riot could simply prioritize the most banned champions for nerfs, even if nerfing them would make them underpowered. They can just buff them back up later when they have an idea for how to make them stronger without making them more obnoxious. Lookin' at you Blitzcrank.

Or I guess we should just go back to 5 unique bans close to the same thing. I guess this is a problem no one cares about. Oh well, quality of life be damned.
