Is Maokai Support Good?
Been getting a lot of Maokais as my support lately and I'm curious.

If you play him right into the right matchup. Course, you could say that about any champ really.
Maokai is good for the level 1 sapling 'wards' that he can use to help leash and poke with on top of giving vision. After that, he play's like pretty much any other engage tank.
maokai is good vs non poke mages , vs a brand/zyra etc its hard
he isnt as strong as a support as he use to be.
but with his natural tankyness and sustain and tons of cc he can be a decent support.
He prevents bush babies and just stops people from going in/near bushes in general. Wanna ward that bush? Take that risk. Wanna try hiding in a bush? Oh he threw a sapling in now ya gotta leave or get hurt (usually getting hurt anyway). Wanna run? Or he rooted the entire lane. Maokai feeling spunky? Heavy Engage. He is any bush baby's' nightmare or anyone caught out of position in general.
Kinda reminds me of Fiddlesticks, just an annoying pain in the ass that makes playing bot lane unfun.
