Seriously, 70% damage reduction? While he gets to synergize extremely well with AD and on-hits AND Sated Devourer while still being a fast jungler and having assassin-like damage and being super sticky with his Q and ult AND having an ability that makes him untargettable for about a second?

I don't think that's not enough of a trade off when you know, Lee's ward hop only has a trade off of a few seconds CD and some nonexistent energy cost that is gonna get back 1 sec later anyway.

Okay, so lets assume he does. What happens after he gets interrupted? He starts slapping away at your face, possibly healing up, again, doing assassin-like damage.
And even if he can get interrupted, he can still heal up somewhere else. He has a mega speed boost for a reason, not so his new dance buff can go super fast and he can BM even harder. He just runs out, heals up, maybe hits a monster or scuttle a few times for the lifesteal and runs back in.

If he can just kill everyone he wouldn't sit there and heal in the first place. Hence under normal circumstances, if his heal is interrupted he dies, simple.
His speed boost is stoppable by any CC that's not slow (well not non movement speed restraining ones like blind but they also help playing against him) you know. But that doesn't matter, because most Yi's can not survive for more than 1 second after his heal is interrupted.
His heal has a CD of 35 seconds non scale-able through ability rank, it's not something he can spam until he gets really really fed, in which case he doesn't even need it unless he is 1v5'ing anyway.
Lifesteal is only significant when a champ is fed, which again, if he can leech that quick you all deserve to die. Let's not mention Yi wouldn't build more than 2 lifesteal items normally as that would be under-using his focus on speed and criting.

All part of his kit. Some kits are ment to be annoying but not uncoutnerable.
