There are a lot of champions who haven't been viable for a while in LCS due to mobility creep

Now, look, mobility is a lot of fun - it adds counterplay, it feels cool, and it's not that annoying to play against (except Nidalee and Kalista ). But, there are a lot of champions who either get phased out by these, or simply have been untouched by Riot for a LONG time Lemme list a few Anivia (easy to dodge skillshots)

Galio (lowest pickrate for a LONG time) Garen (kit makes no sense) Gangplank (again, kit makes no sense) Lux (insane mana costs, low dmg) Yorick (is not V good past lane) Xerath (ziggs 1.0) Udyr (easy AF to kite) Singed (does this even need explaining) Now, i know some of you will disagree with these, and i also know that there are more, but champions like these really need Riot's attention Thoughts? EDIT: why the downvotes? it's just my opinion...

Well I mean, Kikis seems to be having fun with Udyr.

I don't know why you are questioning Udyr? For awhile in the LCS, teams were picking him. They did pretty good and some were able to win games. Also, Xerath had his time in the LCS too so idk what you mean by " not viable in the lcs for a long time". Anyways, why do ALL champions have to be viable in the LCS? That champion may not be good with the team comp they have in mind or that there are other champions that are better and can provide a better mid or late game presence. The players decide what champion is viable in the LCS due to scrims, solo q and there comfortable champion pools.

They aren't all that bad. Anivia has really high CC and damage. She does have a hard time playing against Yasuos and Zeds but she has a lot of disengage potential; and her passive is crazy.

Galio = Tanknivia. Same ability difficulties.

Garen's kit is pretty weird. For a tank, he has an awful lot of damage abilities. Crit Garen has a lot of damage.

I love and hate critplank. Over the years I've appreciated critplank's existence. There's just something to the character that's funny or appealing. I really wouldn't want Critplank to go. That's saying something, considering that I've never played Gangplank and do not own him.

I think the point of Lux is to utilize her AA between ability casts, which is why she has strong mana costs. I don't think she deals low damage at all. If anything, Lux is a standard Mage that does as much damage as LeBlanc with the same items.

I can't wait for Yorick rework.

Xerath is really difficult to pull off against current mid laners (Yasuo, Zed). You pretty much need to land every stun/slow to survive a lane against a good Assassin. However, he can't cross walls like Ziggs can. They are quite different.

Which is why good Udyrs build Swiftness, Zephyr, Tri, and every tank item available to be slippery and tanky at the same time. Udyr is simply a stun bot for his team, as well as the objectives man.

Singed is the most annoying top laner to lane against. I find that it doesn't matter how many times you kill him, he will still get beefy, tanky, and dangerous with his CC. You can't chase him, but if you do kill him he'd already have a significant cs lead. Proxy Singed is not something that I've come to appreciate like critplank.

I really feel like Malzahar should have been mentioned here. He's the weakest of all immobile mages right now. His delayed silence doesn't stop Zeds and Yasuos in their tracks. His only other CC is his ultimate that's easily counterable with summoner 1 and item 3140 almost the same cooldowns as his ult. His combo is hard to 100% land (W+E+R) because everyone dashes around or flashes around. Most annoying of all, his ult has a delay. An easy Ahri charm destroys it.

Almost none of these are un-favored because of mobility creep.

Honestly the easy to dodge skillshots and lack of mobility is not the only reasons why Anivia hasn't seen much LCS plays (Besides for the few times Froggen uses her). It's also due to her having the lowest movement speed, one of the lowest HP and Armor and the fact that she's possibly the hardest champ to farm with (pre-6). Also I see a lot of people talking about Lux's mana cost being insane, but technically Anivia's skills cost more overall then Lux.

Gangplank 's kit makes perfect sense!

He eats fruit, and is K.

But seriously, Gangplank's kit makes about as much sense as does Jarvan's.

He fires a pistol to deal extra damage, heals disables with citrus fruit, and inspires his team to move more quickly and fight more strongly. The only thing in the entire kit that feels a bit off is his Ultimate... WHERE THE HELL IS THE SHIP SUPPOSED TO BE?
