Either everyone and their mother keeps banning or it's sudden influx of people picking her before me. Seriously, I'm starting to detest Worlds because I just know it's why this is happening.

Things are all suddenly "OP" just because they get spammed and they only get spammed because people are goddamn sheep. It happened to Swain earlier this year and happened to Veigar last year.

i just play one of the other champs under my belt. sure you can ban out galio my main champ, but i still have Ahri Velkoz Viktor Veigar Chogath Morgana i could play really well in the same position.

i have more than JUST galio.

i understand the moment zed gets banned out you can no longer perform at a platinum level forcing you to rage/dodge or induce someone else into dodging for you.

but wait, here me out! you could play... Yasuo Talon Khazix instead. which im sure is 100% of your champion pool >.>

Lmao, this was the enemy Viktor in one of my games the other day. Guy was at 30%, cried in chat about pressing Flash R for autowin. Like hoe, you were low and chose not to back against a Syndra who was consistently poking you, autowin my ass.

Probably not as tilting as when that happens with a Cho'gath.

And assuming the Cho'gath didn't already have max stacks, he gets double from eating you alive making him even harder to kill when you come back to lane! YAY.

she will def get nerfed now that she is an extremly strong pick at worlds. Ive been playing her a bit b4 worlds had started and she doesnt have many bad matchups. She owns any lane she is in and if she snowballs a couple kills she is damn near unstoppable. I enjoy playing her, but since the only strat being used at worlds is lane domiate snowballing i suspect that a lot of those champ will get hit with the nerf-bat.

It's that people hate point and click nukes. Specifically ranged ones. It was/is a big reason why people hate Veigar as well. Massive damage with little counterplay.

I know people are gonna point to Cho and Darius, but let's be real. Melee vs ranged isn't a fair comparison. Low risk, high reward versus high risk, high reward. They also don't do nearly as much damage because they have to build off-tank just so they don't get obliterated

Low play rate let's a lot of thing slide because people don't have to deal with it often. Now that more people are picking her people are banning her. Since there are only 3 bans per team it makes sense to spend it on something you have a 30% chance of paying against rather than a 5%.

Same thing happens with my main. A lot of people hate paying against Wukong but he rarely gets banned because of a very low pick rate. If he ever became more popular his ban rate would increase as well
