720 FPS On Highest Settings?
Why does my FPS go that high, and is it a bad thing?

Just limit the fps if you're worried about it damaging your card
Didnt know it could damage my card. But is there a difference between normal 60 FPS and my 720 FPS?
There is, but your eye can't tell the difference. I'd reccommend limiting the FPS in the settings ingame.

If you do not have a high refresh rate monitor the difference is negligible. Lower input lag is the biggest difference at the very least.
The more frames there are the more gpu usage. Your graphics card doesnt need to be at full blast 24/7 so limiting the FPS won't do any harm.
Not trying to bash people but getting a computer capable of doing 720fps on highest settings while knowing pretty much nothing about computers while still worrying about the damage to the machine (meaning you don't want to spend money buying new one) is kinda... don't even know.. Anyway, if you don't want more strain on your system than what's necessary, set the fps limit from in-game settings to match your monitor refresh rate or slightly above it. Won't do you any good to run the game on 720fps when your monitor can only do 60 for example.
Also this time and age, try to get some basic information on how computer stuff works, it will save you a lot of trouble later on.
