if ezreal q is a basic attack

why doesn't it crit? if its a spell. why doesn't it apply spell effects? its one or the other. for example. GP parrley. it crits. but it doesnt apply spell effects. I mean wouldn't it make sense if ezreal Q crits so he actually gets more from his kit rather abusing items?

Ezreal's Q Applies on hit effects. It is not a basic attack. GP's Q is treated like a melee basic attack. This is working as intended. summoner 31

It does not apply Runic Echo for example though. If it's not basic attack, but ability then why?

Abilities like Ezreal's Q, Fiora Q, and Irelia Q just work that way. That's how they are intended to work. summoner 31

ezreal Q isn't a basic attack, works like irelia Q

if it isn't a basic attack then why can jax dodge it. and pantheon block it?.

On hit effects work both ways...on hot, Jax can dodge and Panth can block on hit

where the fuck did you come up with that

With logic...if Ezreal's q applies on hit effects, dodge and block both impact on hit damage, because of that, they become on hit effects of Ezreal's Q and is why they can dodge/block them

Riot is rather inconsistent with Ezreal's Q.

It's not a "basic attack", but it is blocked by Pantheon's passive. It's not a "spell", but it's blocked by Spell shields.

There are countless other interactions with Ezreal's Q that are similarly vauge (start going through the keystones and you'll find a few). I think Riot needs to do a consistency pass on it.

Sigh, so much wrong stuff.

Ezreal's Q is a basic attack. This means it applies on-hit effects and does not apply spell effects. However, a basic attack is not the same as an auto-attack. Ignoring special mechanics, auto-attacks are the only things that can crit.
