If Yasuo is so hard to play, why is his winrate higher in bronze and silver?
He's supposedly hard to play but he reminds me of season 3 master yi right now.
At higher levels people know how to deal with him, at lower levels he thrives.

high skill cap is not the same as skill floor. Yi is a great example for this, you can play him braindead and easy but if you want to have success in non retard elo youll need to learn to use your w and your q efficiently. Punishing yasuo is really easy if you know his powerspikes, low elo doesnt have a clue when to trade with him so they get dicked.
Because people don't know how to play against him in Bronze and Silver.
Because there is a difference between skillcap(yasuo has a rather high skillcap), which means how hard it is to really master the champ, and there is skill floor(which is rather low for yasuo), which means how much skill you require to play the champ atleast decently. Aditionally, there is also how much the required skill scales with your oppoinents skills. so how much skill is required to play against the champ, and this again is rather high vs yasuo. Which means a bad yasuo still is decent and has a easy time vs bad opponents. Once you face better opponents, you need much more skill to do better. The required skill to do well on yasuo scales pretty hard with the skill of his opponents, as it's easy to get your self out of position and good oponents then can punish that.
A similar effect can be observed on garen. He arguably needs little skill to play, but yet he has one of the highest differences in winrate between new players and experienced players at plat+, because it gets alot harder to use garen well when your opponents get better and play around your (huge)weaknesses.
cause people can't sidestep/kite/deny cs/poke/cc/ FUNCTION IN GENERAL in low elo. So yas gets the 2 crit items and just stands and rightclick people who think they can outdmg him by autoattacking. Same with Master Yesus
Lack of game sense or awareness. A lot of lower elos don't know what champion spells do or what a cool down is. Think of the people who complain about wind wall, those same people use their long range projectile ultimate when he has wind wall available instead of being patient and waiting.
Also you have people who play miss fortune top lane against him in low elos so of course he wins lol
I mean I got a pentakill the first time I played Yasuo and I'm Plat III sooooo
Getting a penta because you go lucky isn't skill. You don't become good at yasuo after 1 game.
Because in bronze and silver there are players that still don't know how to abuse an opponent mistake.
Still i don't get this whole "yasuo requires skills" i mean which part of his kit does? Maybe just the windwall where you require timing? Because his Q is barely a skillshot and his other spells are point and click (the ult doesn't even require aiming).

When he was released, the devs made it clear he had additional power in his kit in exchange for being really hard to play.

His q hit box is smaller than your dick soo its not that hard to miss
He's hard but people don't play against him in low elo, thus making him the "Noobstomper".
you can afk under tower for 10 minutes and still win in bronze
