Buffing Soraka is always a mistake

Again, she's beyond dominant in bot lane, teamfights, sieges, etc.

Anything you do It gets erased with her stupid healing.

Again is time to permaban her so she doesnt ruin 9 of every 10 games.

Soraka is the sustain support. It's right there in her job description as "the League's healer." She doesn't engage, she doesn't bring burst damage, she doesn't have hard CC, and while she's gotten a bit of disengage it's still not her forte. No. She puts back health.

If you're trying to fight her on her terms - by going in for small trades during gaps in CSing - you're playing directly into her hands, because that's the exact playstyle she's best at countering.

Think of her like a bot lane Illaoi: You wouldn't charge straight into Illaoi when she has a ton of tentacles up to try to fight her, so don't try to poke Soraka out of lane.

I have more of a problem with how well her silence puddle synergizes with any and every other form of CC in the game. 460 damage, a 0.8 AP Ratio, a 925 cast range, 70 mana and a 2 second root? Nobody else thinks those numbers are a little overtuned? I'm not sure if the artillery strike mini-game that they added when you are playing against a Soraka is all that much fun either. I like the synergy between her Q and her heal, but the movement speed bonus seems misplaced on the champion. A 50% AoE slow combo'ed with a movement speed buff is a bigger power shift than what the move really should have considering the mana cost, cooldown and additional healing.
