What is the logic of not banning Morgana and not first picking her?

I am baffled with this one. She has the single most toxic ability in the game on top of a strong kit. Is it really that hard to understand that a shield that blocks INFINITE amount of cc while up is going to ruin your entire team strategy?

We all know riot seemed to give up on balancing the game but for real, that is what we have bans for. There is no more purge, mana burn, item active or anything to help counter her shield. It is literally the only uncounterable move in the game. In order to break the shield you have to do over 700 AP DAMAGE before using any cc. In other words, you have to somehow have over 700 ap damage after mitigation without using your damaging ap abilities.

Moves that break the shield, still get their cc blocked. Its just a stupid ass move and anyone that doesn't ban morgana and doesn't first pick her in solo que needs to be reported by the entire team if someone noble doesnt dodge first.

You realize her Sheild has a long cd and can only be used on one target right? It's not as game breaking lay OP as you seem to beleive.

You mean to say "magic damage" and Morgana's shield only blocks 700 magic damage if she has 500 AP.

Also, her shield doesn't do dick against physical damage.

EDIT: And for maximum clarity, that 700 damage shield with 500 AP is if her shield is max rank (350+70%AP). It starts at 70+70%AP.

Morgana isn't overpowered at all though. It's all about context really. She is a strong support but also one who is easily outmaneuvered. She can only shield one person at a time and its cooldown is very long at all ranks - so fake like you're going for one person, get her to waste her shield, then focus the other one. Or, get her to pop the shield and wait 5s for it to die before engaging for real. Also, it's not a crime to kill their support first if you can. They're worth just as much gold.

As for the snare, it's slow and has a huge hitbox, which means your minions are your best defense against it. If you're behind your minions that snare will never hit you. Position yourself closer to the river opening and keep it warded so their jungler doesn't come to murder you.

As for her ultimate, ideally as the ADC you will never be in range for her to activate it on you in the first place. It has roughly half the range of her snare. If she does land it, that means you positioned yourself poorly or got caught out by a gank.

Really? No mention of Teemo or Singed? A measly shield is the most toxic? Do continue.

No counter? Hmm... since when did Riot remove physical damage and true damage? FYI, if you think Riot isn't balancing the game, try reading the patch notes, it'll be a big help.
