Would you look at that? Aurelion's winrate is below 50% now!

He used to have a 53-54% winrate, with last patch it being 53,33%. Keep in mind that hes literally only played by one tricks. Now his win rate is 49,73% which is a -3,6% win ratio compared to last patch. Not to mention that next patch, with the time warp tonic nerf, its just going to decrease even more. Was this nerf really necesarry?

You should note that he has been at 53%+ winrate for at least 10+ patches now. I can't even remember a time aside from the few patches after release where he wasn't in the upper 50s of winrates. Even for champions that are really only played by one tricks that high of a winrate is still too high. Even after the nerfs it looks like the dedicated one tricks so have insane winrates on him so if you are good with him the nerfs shouldn't matter. This happens pretty frequently with a lot of champions that are one tricks so you just have to adapt like the rest of those players.

49.73% is pretty damn balanced. Ideally all champions should be at 50%.

Now remove 70HP from Irelia.

he actually needed to be more vulnerable he pushed and poked at the same time if you tried to stop him he had more base hp than other mages and combined with corrupting pot he would outsustain you easily, maybe it was too harsh but it was needed

now they need to nerf these bastards Ekko Talon Kassadin and midlane is almost cancer free except zoe and yasuo still being in the game

Also, nerfing a champ's early game survivability will have the MOST direct impact to winrate. Thus, the winrate drop is pretty expected since most games are decided by early.

You're only defending him cause you rarely had to deal with that abomination.

No champion should be able to wave clear AND roam with zero interaction for mage players from levels 1-4.

LONG overdue. riot once said that they do nerf champions based on how much one tricks/mains are winning with their one trick champion.
