Nautilus E should be rework (suggestion)

Nautilius used to be the cc king. I still remember the time where people where really scared of Nautilus coming into their range. Now they don't even bother run away because they known they just can walk backwards after using this combo.

#Reasoning

  • The animation is outdated: It doesn't feel satisficing to use it.
  • The mini-rework was a design flaw: Remember they changed the cooldown to his E right. This opened up Nautilus in the Top & Support roles. However they broke him with this change for the toplane. His damage became to reliable early one. The infitive waveclear, the raw sustain damage & eventually it had to be nerfed into oblivion. Believe it or not, this change was a hugh failure from the riot design team. Not because it wasn't a good idea. The idea was OK but not when they don't properly execute it. See the problem with Nautilus old E was that it was on a high cooldown and most of his damage before that came from his W. By reducing the cooldown they changed this up and Nautilus recieved a massive damage boost on his E that still had that same flat damage number. When you change a champions main damage ability you need something to keep the damage in check. You ain't going todo this by giving it an scaling with stats you wouldn't build in a normal situation.

#The rework

ACTIVE: Nautilus creates 3 waves of explosions that radiate from him, each increasing in size dealing magic damage to all enemies hit. Between each wave is a delay (1.5 seconds after 1st wave, 2 seconds afters 2th wave):

  • **Wave 1 (300 range): **A small wave that leaves a crack soil in a small radius. Enemies that are hard cc'd (stunned, rooted, etc) in that zone are grounded for a short duration.
  • Wave 2 (600 range): A medium wave that heavy slows enemies in the area (A slow of 3 seconds that decays over time)
  • Wave 3 (1200 range): A large wave that deals massive magic damage

The rework sounds really cool but that thing looks like an ultimate ability lad

1200 range is longer than Xerath
