If I come across an OTP on the same team or two trick, I ban the champion they play most and say the same words: It doesn't matter if you know every aspect of one or two champions when it translates so little to anything else. I usually get threatened with comments of how that's a punishable offense but is it really...they're one tricks and not just that, I can ban whatever I feel like if that's all there is to it.

no new champs ( if ranked) is always a required ban.
in unranked though unless the champion is absurdly broken on release, cough 
then there is no need to ban them
on release in an unranked game would be rude.for new champs.. if they are OP you ban them becuase they are OP (rankled or unranked) for new champs that are balanced on release you only ban them if your team hovers them (ranked only) because they need to learn how to play it first. obviously if u ban it unranked then... your a bloody moron because you can only learn so much from bots and practice tool

thefourtysn3 votesNo it is not okay, because they one-trick for a reason. It's like a player one-tricks "Master Yi" from Bronze to Challenger and when you ban their champion it's like a guaranteed lost. They're designed to play that champion to their liking, and that forces them to get out of their comfort zone. As summarized from Pants are Dragon, It's always better to play a small group of champions, or even one-trick them. Basically saying that player specializes in playing that champion with great amount of knowledge knowing what to do. Saying if someone banned my one-tricks and forces me to play Gnar top, a high chance I'll feed that lane. Over all don't ban their one-tricks in rank. In norms sure :)
