I talking about a game youve oput alot of time in 30+ minutes, and the team is too heavy to carry. How do you go about giving up like that? I know that some games are unwinnable, but you get punished for afking on unwinnable games so i cant really think of another way to give up aside from afk farming. It seems like a waste of effort.

I know those games.
The games in which it takes a team 2+ barons and 2+ elders and everyone to be at full build including the support and for all three inhibitors to be down just for the team to even CONSIDER going for the nexus. And while you're attacking the nexus as some champion with the basic attack damage of a magikarp using splash you see your allies fountain dive just to give that Yasuo his Penta just so he can feel like the king of the world for a few minutes and flash his mastery for the upteenth time. When, in reality, everything goes tits up and they all die then you die and then the enemy marches down mid and takes the win because you're all dead for 80+ seconds.

Like I said, a team that is ahead and cannot end in a reasonable amount of time is a team that is making MANY mistakes.
Dysnomia1 votesI had two games few days ago with our jungler farming while we had their nexus to 50%. We get aced, they win. It was close to 50min or so. I wish i went afk 35min earlier.
Basically he was all the time just farming as Shen, because every lane was doing good. And we lost it.
