So I am a one trick pony that plays talon but, I want to learn how to carry games as other champs. I currently am playing Viktor and I do very well KDA wise and CS wise but i have a negative winrate. I average 8.4 kills, 5.2 deaths amd 9.8 assists but, I have 7 wins and 9 losses. Meanwhile my Talon has a 66% winrate with like 170 games played. I just feel that even when Im fed I can do anything. When I play Talon I can split and just take obectivesj by myself but, as Viktor Im lost how to push a lead. Im plat 3 btw trying to get Diamond

Typically as a mage/strong pusher, what I like to do is get my turret early and start roaming, help secure other turrets/objectives while keeping lanes pressured to stop the enemy team getting your turrets. Don't commit to anything hard enough to lose your turret unless you're sure you'll get 2 turrets, or 1+dragon/etc.

16 games vs 170. You are very comfortable on Talon and know how far you can push him. As you play Viktor you will grow more accustomed to his power spikes and limitations. 16 games isn't a lot so don't expect to be great on him yet.

Proper advice time: Vik has a stronger push than roam. If your enemy roams go for turret. Lich as a 3rd item (boots, 2-3 core upgrades, ludens first) can help.

However 1v1ing/split pushing isn't Vik's thing. Teamfight and focus on keeping your backline alive. W can peel for multiple teamates, don't put it in the middle of the enemy team. Try to E through enemy frontline to hit their backline but don't risk yourself. Just use Q on the nearest target, prioritizing the squishiest ones. R should be placed on the enemy backline and used to split them up and make them run instead of dpsing.

Vik is a strong teamfighter with good waveclear and zoning. Use that well.

(Rylais is a wonderful item after or instead of Lich)

Try diana or katarina. Very similar champions play-style wise, but they build ap which has its own benefits from a team comp perspective as well as access to the currently very strong ap itemization. As for viktor, I have no clue how to play him, definitely doesn't fit my own play-style.
