The sad truth about the next incoming patchs/reworks

No matter what you all say or do the changes will still go through. They might be horrible and everyone might have all these threads with 200+ upvotes giving criticism about how they could possibly change the reworks.

But no. It just wont happen, Riot will continue with this. Just look at the boards right now, how many rioters have you seen comment or even give a single post on all these threads about the changes, hardly any. Riot think they're right, they made the game so of course they know what we want best. The only riot posts i can hardly find right now are the odd ones on threads possibly about skins, no surprise there.

I don't even play Morde,Garen, or skarner much, but i still feel sorry for all of you who wont be listened to. Enjoy your rock Skarner.Skarner item 3070

I also feel sorry myself and every tank main though that will have to go through the armor changes. I wish Riot would at least TRY to listen or reply to us but no, they will probably skim read some of the threads that have long texts and just ignore others. These changes are coming whether we like it or not. Just my 2 cents.

To address a lot of these threads that I've been seeing on the boards lately, the PBE is used for testing. Complaining about WHY the changes are horrendous is fine on the boards, and the balance team needs to get a consensus of whether people like some of the changes, or some people are complaining for the sake of complaining. For example, the nerf to Skarner's movement speed has already been reverted, and they are at least trying to make the passive work. Even if I don't think they can make it work, you need to make it clear why it wouldn't work (as well as what you personally think a champion like this would want instead). I am saying this as someone whose favorite champion in the game (Mordekaiser) is being pushed into bot lane, and now has the same movement speed as Ashe. I definitely think some of the changes suck, and wish that there was a bit more of a response from Riot's part to some of the concerns that people have with the proposed changes, but these things can still be changed.

Yes they definitely could change. The whole thing im trying to make is that they probably wont change though. Thats just my opinion.

I'm doubtful that they will make any real changes aswell. When the patch notes come out, though, is when you would see a lot of backlash about the changes. A lot of people don't keep themselves up to date with the PBE changes, but if they were to see the current changes as the final notes for the patch, there would be a lot of pissed off players. My main gripe is that Riot really hasn't done much to address the concerns that people have, and have been very vague about the purpose of a lot of their changes. Why is Skarner's passive so weird now? Is he supposed to be played for his high presence in the jungle now? They never addressed the key gameplay issues people have with the changes on the PBE. How am I supposed to play Morde in the bot lane with such a weaker early game? Why would my movement speed be less than my opponent's if they also have superior range aswell? I wish that Riot would actually answer these types of questions.

I am the guy working on Garen. I'm also the guy that worked on Ashe. What about the changes to Garen is making you unhappy?

While I'm sure they haven't taken my own personal feedback into account on Garen it sure feels as if they have. Like or dislike the changes all you want, but one thing Riot isn't doing is ignoring feedback.

Then why do they hardly reply to anything here? Im not asking for barrages of red posts or anything, just at least something to see they at least agree or disagree on these other ideas on these boards.

I had Meddler reply on a Garen thread about a week ago, and while at first he was happy to answer our Garen related questions he was soon bombarded with questions about other champions, design decisions, and sarcastic insults.

Considering the people who frequent this forum can you really blame them when they rarely post? They read, but they only post when the topic is overwhelmingly positive or when they feel they can get some constructive talk in before the haters show up.
