Thats because you can render her completely useless just with positioning and knowing how to lane...

Agreed here FlyingGunther, Leona is far from over powered, especially if she finds herself alone... Plus saying that "DAMAGE" is something that she has going for her, I would tend to say especially early game that her dmg output is lackluster at best. If you play patient and position yourself wisely there should be no issue in lane against her in my opinion.

Zed and Leblanc can go in any direction. Leona, like Pantheon, has only one gear: forward. Flank her, and she collapses.

Nope, other than her ult, she has no slows. I've seen Zeds stick on me harder then any Leona bot lane has.

leona meets long range mage bots, leona is useless, and any janna worth her wind knows that leona E = janna Q there adc, leona dives balls deep while you can kite and trade dmg back onto her.

Anytime a Leona jumps on the adc I go for theirs. Leona doesn't pack enough damage to kill by herself. Their adc does the damage while Leona keeps yours locked down. Keep the enemy adc off of yours even if you have to use the nifty summoner spell exhaust.
