Getting the S just to realize the champ is still mastery 5, legit happened when I played lucian last night

What is worse than that? getting an S+ when you get the champion to mastery 5...then you don't even get a mastery 6 token.

yes you do unless for some strange reason S+ alone doesn't award it

Well, you could be chat restricted or something. The tokens are considered hextech loot, so you won't win them if you're still ineligible for loot.

Otherwise S+ should guarantee one, yeah.

You don't get one if you are mastery 4 and you get an S and ON THAT GAME YOU GOT THE S you go to mastery 5. It has happened to me about 3-4 times with different champions and I don't have tokens for any of them. I have never been chat restricted.

No you don't. I am telling you it has happened to me many times. Have you ever gotten a S with a champion and in that same game gotten them to lv 5? I am telling you you won't get the token, go try it out and come back and talk again XD

And I'm telling you you can't XD Go look in your loot and see if it is there it won't be XD It may tell you you got one but it isn't in your loot. You can argue against it as much as you want. The game I got ez to lv 5 I got an S with him. no token. lux to lv 5 got S. no token. Morg to lv 5 no token. The only tokens I have are for twitch (who has been lv 5 for ages) and zyra (who was my 2nd lv 5). Explain that to me then XD Keep arguing against it my experience is different

Both my lvl 7s I got my 1st token when I hit 5

I can confirm, you don't get tokens if you get an S the game you hit 5.

I know I've gotten a token at least twice when hitting 5

Btw this is what riot support said on the subject "Greetings player,

In order to earn a mastery token you must already be level 5 mastery at the start of the match. So going from 4 to 5 mastery during the game won't result in a token if you get a S grade. The confusion players have comes from the message players see after the game that informs them that they can begin to start earning tokens in their future games on that Champion.

I hope this clears things up for you.
