So...i am seeing people play ap shaco agisnt melees in the top lane

Might as well be a thing. Slowly but surely the real top laners are being pushed out in favor of like Lulu and Ryze with Rumble being one of the few actually hanging on for dear life. Obviously random people play random things in solo queue but what random number 7 plays and what is actually viable is a little different.

People complained about the variety of champs at the start of the season in top with Renekton, Mundo, Shyvana and a few other tanks, now ...eh...it is the Ryze and Rumble show at the moment.

Bring on AP Shaco cause at this point why not?

Sounds terrible. Top isn't bad any more, Looper and the Koreans tore the meta ceiling off top lane at Worlds and proved that sticking to meta tops is a recipe to get counter picked and rolled with timing pushes.

Singed, Akali and Kassadin were unimaginable 'top tier' picks for top lane until a few weeks ago. Now top lane has really opened up to pretty much anything.

Whoo, shaco players!

Shaco just needs a rework in general. AP Shaco is one reason why.
