Master Yi rework idea

NEW-P:Master Yi gains bonus AD from attack speed

REWORKED-Q:Master Yi blinks to the target enemy, dealing physical damage to it and up to 3 nearby enemies then reappear next to his main target. If the Target is alone they take SIGNIFICANTLY (200%) increased damage.

Alpha Strike will crit targets below 50% HP for increased damage. Basic attacks reduce the cooldown of this ability.

W:(no changes)

NEW -E:Master Yi's next Four attacks gain X% attack speed(scaling with level). The third hit deals increased damage and the final hit is a double strike.

REWORKED-R:Master Yi breaks free from snares ONLY then channels his attack speed into his Movespeed decaying overtime. (1%AS=1% Movespeed). Kills reset the Movespeed boost and alpha strike.(Master Yi still retains slow immunity from ENEMYS but not from his own abilty )

Now grants Bonus Armor penetration while active instead of Attack speed(30/40/50%)

GOALS: -**Give Master yi's targets more counterplay ** -Make Yi's windows of Strength more clear -Reduce Yi's dependency on his ultimate(Highlander) for DPS -Make Yi a bit more resilient to crowd controls but retain crowd controls as his clear weakness -Further enhance Yi's thematic as a speedster swordfighter

  • Retain Yi's effectiveness against tanks
  • Offer new buildpath while retaining crit as his primary

I don't think this is a good Idea, he's only played in low elo because most teams always have a tank or two with CC, what you just listed would make him ungodly broken. And we already have enough of those champions in the game. If he was going to get reworked. he would most likely be revolving around him being fast and ambushing lanes. Not just walking into a 1v5 and destroying it with very little counter play. The fact that you said that the first person would take 200% damage if they didn't did is unbelievable. That means you could possibly one shot an adc. I don't think anything more needs to be said from me, I for one don't think this is a good idea at all.

More counterplay? By removing the ability to root him with his ult? By giving his Q double damage in a 1v1?

What kind of sick f'ck makes this toxic kit....?

This is nothing "reworked" at all. You only added a new line on the last sentence, which is still unnecessary as hell.

Old Fiora's E + Jax's Passive Ult = This. Just no.

When the damage reduction on his W isn't enough, yeah, better give him an unnecessary orange.

Master Yi already gets Free AD from building AD (Wuju style passive) this is simply retuning it to AS focused instead.

the "Rework" is that now in a fight Yi's will have to decide the optimal time to use it . Do you dodge an incoming ability or wait and single out one person?

The Reason E may seem a bit overloaded is because literally ALL OF HIS FREE AS FROM ULT IS NOW GONE. If he didnt have a tool like that I think his power to fight would be lacking significantly especially around minions/monsters/other champions. Its going to be his clear source of damage. All it really is a significant AS buff + his doublestrike.

R breaking off from snares is NOT the same as a GP orange. GP orange works on all CC and heals. There are alot more stuns in the game than snares so its really conditional.
