true. but she's tied to kayle. doesnt have to be. but you'd get more backlash cuz they visibly tied into each others lore. but i've been wrong before. it's not like ppl are actually upset by varus "loss of desire for vengance". they might be totally fine with it. definitely wouldnt be a fuck boi convention on the boards like it is now

Uhhhhh...no, Aatrox as far as I understand. Considers tryndamere his greatest creation (because if you didn't know, aatrox is the reason for tryns stength and powers). Demonblade tryn is what would happen if aatrox fully turned tryn into a darkin. He wouldn't be the host for aatrox, he'd be more controlled by aatrox. Kinda like a rc car, with blades, that spins at you to kill you.

I don't think that's how Darkin work, they're ancient being who were imprisoned inside weapons and can corrupt/take over their wielder. As far as I know they can't corrupt random people and they definitely can't turn people into other darkin. I believe Aatrox is trying to groom Tryndamere to be his next host/wielder and Demonblade Tryndamere is the end result of that.

well, aatrox says this to tryn "Tryndamere, my greatest creation." so, maybe he used magic to mess with tryns dna? idk. I don't have time to read aatrox's lore.

EDIT: in a war against tryns clan where Aatrox is helping the attacking side (the ones attacking tryn and his clan/tribe) it has this to say, im thinking he did the same to tryn "Soon, the warriors found themselves imbued with a potent thirst for battle. They followed Aatrox into the fray, each fighting with the furious strength of ten until they had won a most unlikely victory.

Basically, what Aatrox does is he shows up in the middle of a battle and he turns the tide by helping the losing side and filling them all with bloodlust . Basically, the Protectorate army at the time they thought they were fighting how they normally would and winning but after Aatrox's influence faded they realized that they had been committing all sorts of atrocities without realizing it. Tryndamere is Aatrox's "greatest creation" in the sense that Aatrox is trying to mold him into being this insanely strong and insanely bloodthirsty warrior I believe until he kills Aatrox's current host and take's his sword turning him into Aatrox's next host.

What's funny is this works on two levels. the five could be Kayn, Rhaast, Varus, Val, and Kai OR it could just mean the five darkin remaining (with the three representing the three currently revealed)

Or, when he first says "the three of us" he means Kayn, Rhaast (himself), and Varus.

good point. But maybe he is still refering to him, since it is kayn's body and kayn isn't actually dead per say. He is just in the place Rhaast was Quote to prove this: "Kayn weeps in the abyss between oblivions.. Idiot." meaning he isn't dead. So it could still work either way.

Their consciousness would remain in some form, it wouldn't make sense if it didn't. This isn't the same as Pantheon obliterating Atrius.

what about Kayn? we don't know for sure if he's case is similar to Varus or not. this proves my point because technically it doesn't matter if Varus is three people (even Val's mother didn't know that)
