I have a thought about Athene's

Okay, Athene's has a bit of a history. It used to be a midlaner item, but it was always competitive with morello's so riot kicked it out of mid lane. Riot has tried it as a support item, but with redemption and locket, a support just can't afford it unless the game goes really long. Even then, you might want something else for different stats/effects. AP supports want full AP items. Passive supports what more supporty items. Athene's is kind of left in a weird place.

So I'd like to suggest something else. Make it an AP jungler's item. It starts out with 40 AP, and every time you clear a camp you get +5 AP with a cap of 100 or 120. Diana, fiddles, Aussie, and Evelynn could make use of it.

Also I'd change the build path to + as junglers would appreciate some movespeed. This would also let it fill the role of the AP+MR item that junglers will default to.

For that amount of AP, the price would need to be adjusted appropriately. What's stopping any AP Laner's from clearing the closet camp to gain extra AP? I mean if it's only $2100 and I'm a AP support and I clear Gromp I could potentially benefit from a low cost High AP item.

As an AP support main myself I might be tempted to try.
