"I'm sorry for coming across as adversarial, just being flamed puts me in a bad mood.

I hardly play ranked, I just like to dick around with my friends mostly. I know that I wouldn't be able to make Diamond just because I make a bunch of super questionable decisions and my mechanics could use work, but I still have a lot of idea of what's up and I don't appreciate you talking down to me."

NO TRUER WORDS HAVE BEEN SPOKEN. Screw Diamond players, they're so ignorant but feel so entitled.

Some just luckier than others. If I were in Silver right now (especially Silver fucking 5), it'd be one hell of a struggle but I just got real lucky and it happens you know. Happened for three years now.

I agree with you that they should not be dicks to lower ranks, but only on that. Criticism is a good thing and can be very constructive if done properly and a diamond would know more about it typically then a bronze. While some luck may be involved, diamond and above players are mechanically better and have better decision making abilities and understanding of the game (i will say that that is true of like 95% of them, not all ).

If you don't care about ranked that much then why play it? And why are all getting so but hurt about all this? If you really don't care then mute them and move on. That is why the button is there. Whining to a computer screen about some guy/girl thousands of miles away from you said in a video game is pointless. You shouldn't have to "stand up to those fucking bullies", you should stop crying about it and move on. What some random person said on the computer has absolutely no effect on you in real life or even n the game it happened in and if it does effect you that much then stop playing the game and see a psychiatrist cause you are obviously messed up and need help.

Luck is not involved. Luck can carry you up a division, MAYBE 2 divisions if you are the luckiest person on the planet. It will not carry you up a whole tier, and especially not from bronze to diamond. I play a ton of bronze level games with my bronze friends, and I play diamond level games in soloq, and the difference between the players in these games is astronomical. They're almost playing two different games.

Actually, the opposite is true.

Bronze players lack the mechanical skills to combat a tank, even when the tank misplays, because they are so beefy. Carrying bronze games as a squishy can be tougher, your safety net isn't as big and the margin for error is smaller. A tank also supplements that capabilities of lesser teammates, making them "better". While an assassin or adc will rely on a front line unit (played by a much less capable player) to do front line things in order to be effective.

idk last time when you were n bronze but i actively play bronze games in ranked and silver and gold games in normals (at least used to play sliver and gold games in normals before season reset i have no idea now.) bronze players know basic kiteing bronze 5 and bronze 3 are like the difference between mid gold to platnium they still cs bad and make mad decisions both when to go in and when not to help the person who is going in but mid bronze players and gold players play pretty much the same except gold players have 20 -40 more farm by mid game depending on lane 20 being top laners and supports 40 being adcs and midlaners. bronze players biggest problem is that they surrender at 20 if they arent personally snowballing and dont read the game which is what keeps me in bronze mostly despite a positive winrate last season. not enough games this season but i think i lost 6 and won 4. and being beefy when generic mage pops you in a combination of any 4 spells and genric adc pops you in 5 auto attacks or less not mentioning that they have spells also most of which contain cc and or mobility to keep themselves safe. you can go in as a tank but you cant make your team follow up as they sit back and wait for some one to get low so they can pick it off and say i got a kill im helping stop dieing omfg.
