I honestly don't expect much from current Riot...

They're adamant in changing the game towards a 'larger audience'. They want a flashy instant-reward game for kids and fast paced games for asian markets.

They want League to be nothing like it used to be and what made it as big as it is soley to cater a super volatile playerbase that will jump ship the second the next big thing is released. #smart buisness decisions...

Season 3&4 the high of Leauge in the west and Season 5 the oh so horrible TANK-META AND the high of League in the EAST. Especially Season 5 was absolute high in terms of diversity and viablity with the entire roaster of champions being pickable. LONG close slow-paced games dominated these seasons. WIth clear cuts in early mid and late where every one of them was important when building a team and every one of them was fun to play.

More bursty than Season 8? Lower quality than the matchmaking in season 9? Games that are officially over in 10 mins instead of just being unofficially over?

After 2 years of nothing but disappointment, nothing. Just no expectations at this point. Oh, that's not true. I expect them to make things a lot worse.

Champion Designs

  • Piltovian criminal: could be a serial killer with a hextech chainsaw. I just want a Piltovian champion who is evil for a change, since we don't have any currently
  • CHEMBARONESS: I just don't understand how we went on this long without ever getting a chembaron champion in the game, we read so much about them in the lore, yet we still can't play as one
  • Piltovian support: Piltover lacks a dedicated support champion, I think a hikikomori archetype would fit well

VGUs

I really hope that they will announce the rework for Dr. Mundo in that year. That he lost the poll really annoyed me and I hope that Riot acknowledges that he is an extremely urgent case for a complete makeover.

Also I would like some Ezreal level updates for Blitzcrank and Caitlyn.

Skins I expect the return of the following skinlines:

  • Star Guardian: giving us another proper Star Guardian team, would like them to have Caitlyn, Vi, and Orianna in it
  • Pool Party
  • Resistance: we could use more people joining the rebellion against the Battlecast, just Cait and Illaoi are not enough.
  • Kaiju: Same situation like Resistance, we have tons of Mechas, but just Crabgot as a Kaiju for them to fight against.
  • Lunar Revel: Twitch is basically already bound to happen, but we will see who else will come out.
  • Gemstone skin for any champion from Piltover or Zaun (I am sitting on 10 gemstones and these are the only champions I would spend them on)
  • VS event with a theme around the concepts of Progress VS Tradition
  • Chemtech skins: I love the aesthetic and I think it is really sad that we just got Tryndamere with such a skin
  • Odyssey skins: complete new crew

Events

  • Chemtech event around the new Chembaroness champion, which also features the Chemtech skins. New, chemtech themed loot to craft, just like back then with Pyke's release and the golden krakens.
  • short cinematic and event for the new Kaiju, showing us how they are appearing out of a rift in the ocean
  • already mentioned the thematic of the VS event
  • would like another round of the Odyssey game mode, the augments playstyle was extremely fun and I liked the challenge there

Runes

New keystones for Sorcery, Resolve, and Inspiration. No idea how these could turn out, tho.
