A year ago, when I filled I'd get support 90% of the time and everything else would be a mixed bag. Now though, it seems like I get jungle around 80% of the time, support 10%, and all the other roles split up amongst themselves. Why is jungle so unpopular now?

I actually get queue times for support now. If I queue jungle sometimes it'll be an insta queue. As someone who's only played support when I started out because it'd be the only role left for me, I'd like it if supports went back to being fairly inconsequential.

not true, ive played every role, and the one that has the most impact is the one that doesnt feed which is just about always everyone but me so if only 1 lane doesnt feed you would rather the mid or adc
