What is a Charm?

So in my knowlege a Charm is making an enemy walk towards the caster slowly.

However when i was playing Rakan i would R then W to an enemy draven to charm him into my knockup, but 4 times in the same game draven walked AWAY from me. ill see if i can post the Replay but it really screwed me over alot of times that he walked out of my W knockup.

The charm only lasts so long as he's in the radius, the charm for Rakan has a very odd hitbox
