Mount Targon, Two empty slots?

Looking at the "Explore Mount Targon" page, it has Diana, Pantheon, and Leona. But there are two empty slots.

My prediction would be Taric as the Earth/mountain aspect, and Aurelion Sol as the Wind aspect....

Here now - I'm pretty sure Jaredan has the monopoly on merciless teasing round these parts. ;)

(I, personally, am off to read the Targon stories. I didn't even know they were due out today! Woop woop! (Standard disclaimer - I'm not part of the Narrative team, I don't know much, I am looking forward to Taric though!)

It's been confirmed a while back. Some people just don't even want to look beyond just the boards. The rework order as of now, is Taric, Mage Update (being the next few patches where things like Zyra, Vel'koz, Vladimir, and some others have small parts in their kit reworked), and then Yorick. Hope this helped you out.

They said already that this isn't going to be a classical event,so it might be just a shiny update for the Targon lores,not a bigger story,so I wouldn't get my hopes up on any big lore development for the targon champions.

The 2 empty spots are likely for Aurelion Sol(who is probably coming in 2 patches) and Taric(who might be in the patch after Sol)

(Before people go off at me, I'm perfectly fine with Pantheon staying as he is, I just think something like this would be a nice addition to the character given this new lore.) If that's the case, maybe they should add some effects to 's abilities to make them a little more celestial? Considering his new lore seems to make him the spirit of a constellation, perhaps something like the particle effects on Cosmic Reaver Kassadin with more of an orange or bloody hue would be fitting?

I was thinking the same thing. A crimson, sunset background for his cloak with glinting starlight that appears like shooting stars when the cloak moves. Twinkling starlight in his eyes.

And proper spell effects for his ultimate, besides just a big, red circle, there can be stars falling near his destination to herald his Skyfall.

Anyone else thinking of Skarner.. Because the fact that's he's literally made of stone. Although Aurelion Sol is probably one of them because his name freakin means sun and Taric is coming out soon so it makes since for him to be the next one, I wouldn't count out the Crystal Scarner just yet.

I don't think Aurelion Sol is going to be the champ. If I remember correct Y Riot has said that Sol will be out in a while, but is not the next champ to be released. They also said that Taric will be after a new champ is released. So one is probably Taric but the other is not Sol.

And Diana was fighting Void spawn in her lore, directed by the aspect of the Moon. The Celestial Aspects of Targon directly oppose The Void. The entities that the Rakkor often fight may also be Void spawn

Looks like Kassadin may finally have allies in his fight against Malzahar and The Void.
