Playing riven is like playing chess

My playing style changes a lot when I pick up Riven. I feel like I watch all moves of my lane opponent. I notice so much more, but at the same time my general league knowledge drops. I don't care about minimap, I don't notice if our jungle gets invaded. The only thing I care about is winning my lane opponent. This kind of thinking has got me to diamond 5. I don't know, if people claim this to high level area, but I feel like people here start to be decent top laners and you have to look for other players making mistakes. If you play good yourself, you might not win. You have to be better than the other laner. Once you start playing Riven at her highest value you can admit that it takes a lot of patience and knowledge to beat certain match ups. Also I've noticed that my feelings towards the game is quite different depending am I Riven or some other champion. When you have just the right amount of damage and destroy your opponents health bar along with their minds irl the feeling you get is unimaginable, if you are Riven.
