As much as I dislike them, they're a necessary evil.

Compared to Aatrox Darius Maokai Nasus life-leeching or Tryndamere Jax flexing on turrets, I'd rather have those 2 "carry" games than get "out-skilled" by champions that heal for the damage they deal and their only weakness being their mana bar.

Also people hated tanks and wanted bruisers, there you have it.
