Will riot ever deal with soft inters?

Most players who int these days don't do it in a way that Riots system detect, they'll purposely be in the wrong place at the wrong time or pretend like they have bronze level micro even though they're clearly a master tier player.

A surrender vote fails or someone dies early in lane and they make it extremely obvious they aren't even trying to win for the rest of the game, and this is a widespread problem in high elo that happens at least once every few games.

How would riot detect/punish these players? If it is based on a report, then it becomes reportable to have a bad game. Yesterday I had the most unfortunate lvl 1 on Varus and had one of the worst games I've had in years. I fed pretty damn hard unintentionally, and my team thought I was running it down. It was a painful game, and I was reported, though not punished. Soft inting exists, but sometimes people are just stuck in a shitty headspace and can't play right.

I mean almost all singed mains would get flagged and banned if they started to ban soft inters because playing singed properly looks exactly like inting

I got banned for calling someone that was inting a ''re-tard'' so I decided to int myself :) If they think its worth getting banned for calling the inter a re-tard so be it.

Short answer: No. Long answer: They don't care, so No.

its hard to deal with them because there is no way you can make a system that bans soft inters, they can just int "split push" and claim they have no macro/bronze level macro and they will never get punished.

They have a plan to. Riot Blaustoise recently talked about it on Beyond The Rift or other such platform.

no riot is to busy with mean words

I agree. I have seen numerous players taunt other players to let then know that they are throwing the game but are un-reportable since they are not afk.

No you can even send their support team videos of people inting in your ranked games and no action will be taken. If you don't type no-no words you won't get banned it's a shitty system

My suggestion: measure a person's performance in-game, if it falls far below their usual performance, immediately demote their rank (at the end of the game) to the rank of the performance level they showed. That will teach them not to soft int, or play while drunk/high, or play when they're tilted and going to ruin games for everyone.

The previous system to deal with this never worked. "Unskilled Player" was a report option. Basically, the community just spammed this one ANYONE who last lane and the Tribunal, back when it was in effect, was flooded with the reports. Maybe whatever Riot Blaustoise referenced will do better. Guess we'll wait and see.

it cant be based on report, everytime somebody loses 60-70% of them report whoever beat them.

Well if you don't want people do this to you, don't flame them and don't ban a players champ on purpose, also surrender when the game is obviously lost.
