I would play support if i didn't get it 85% of the time as secondary role

As the new season approaches, so does season 7 ranked season. I thought I'd make my voice heard so I can at least hope for a better season.

Now onto my topic. I main adc and wouldn't mind playing support as secondary since I know the bot lane pretty well compared to other lanes. Last season, I started ranked(came back to league) around September and because of time constraints before season ended, I figured it would be best to try to get these two roles as much as possible to get the highest rank I can within this time constraint. I was happy when I logged in to see that you can now choose 2 roles which you are almost guaranteed to get, little did I know that putting support as secondary will only let me play my main role less than 15% of the time. At the end of the season, I had over twice the mastery on my Leona than all my adc COMBINED(I had quit league before mastery was implemented) AND I PLAY OTHER SUPPORTS TOO. That is just abominable. Because of this, I am now forced to pick mid lane as my secondary to at least get my main role a percentage of times and avoid almost always getting support. Like I said, if I got support fewer times (roughly 20% of the time), I wouldn't mind placing that as my secondary. But because of the overwhelming percentage of times I get that role as my secondary I am not going to choose that role for a while until a fix is rolled out. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate supporting nor do I have any hate towards the role. I just don't main the role and it is appalling the number of times I get it compared to my main role (It's as though my primary doesn't matter). Hopefully riot can do something about this so I can get back to solely playing in the bot lane.

TL;DR: I am not picking support as secondary role until a fix is rolled out to help me get my primary more than 50% of the time.
