i get 14 minutes queue time without dodging any games prior to client crash

Hey,

a friend invited me to queue up for aram, i get in (old client btw) and the "match found" pop's up. I click accept and then the client closes. I log back in to find a 14 minute queue time penalty. If i had dodged games a few times prior, i would have been fine with that, but i haven't dodged a game in almost 3 months and my queue times usually are the regular 1 ~2 minutes. I didn't get a bug splat pop up or anything. What is going on. (As a side note, i logged back in to the new client after it crashed and that is where i saw 14 minute queue time)
