SAY "gj bot" NOT "gj insert adc"

I just came out of a ranked game as a braum support. At an early point in the game my vayne was about to die but because of my SUPERB SKILLs AND GAME KNOWLEDGE, we come out with 2 kills while surviving. Guess what happens next? "Malphite: gj vayne" "Fizz: gj vayne" "Braum: Fuk u". I WAS PISSED. Later in the game we come out of a team fight with vayne getting a pentakill, team dead, EXCEPT ME BY HER SIDE but guess what team says? "team: gj vayne" "braum: fuk u". On a more serious note, this role (support) being underappreciated is nothing new and it's understandable because placing wards and assisting someone get a kill isn't nearly as important as getting the kills and carrying the game. Now i'm not saying to compliment whenever someone places a ward, but at least give some credit where it is due. Simply saying "gj bot" or just plain "gj" is enough. I play a lot of adc and i always compliment my support for anything that helps me out so he/she feels appreciated because the rest of the team wouldn't. On the contrary, if a braum took all the kills he wouldn't get a single praise because that isn't optimal. It's like a lose - lose situation, and i know this has been brought up countless times, but just to resurface and create awareness I would like to start the #thankasupport campaign.

A well played support should always get praise, if not for the simple fact that they are willing to play what many refuse then for saving idiots from face checking and itemizing with boring crap that helps everyone else.

lol i was in a game and making good play in lane as support and the adc would say gj and ty to the jungler but neither would acknowledge i was there too and actually set up the ganks so after they did their lil bit of gj, ty, gj 2 etc conversation i would tell myself in chat gj and etc i would be like "good job braum " "ty braum" "nice shield braum to save the adc " "np braum, i try " it was funny...

I don't know who you play with but whenever a support makes good plays I always see them getting praised.

I'm a support main, and I find praise is rarely directed specifically at one member of the bot lane unless that person did something particularly spectacular. My ADCs tend to acknowledge my help, though there are always some that are assholes. In my experience though it's really not as bad as people make it out to be.

I think a lot of it is that they see the Vayne double kill announcement and automatically assume Vayne did something good, because that's usually what has to happen to get a double kill.

As an AD main, I always praise the support when we manage to pull off a kill or two in lane. Then again, I sometimes hate and flame supports who loses botlane for me.
