He had a FH and manamune and solod me so fast. I got caught out pretty hard top lane csing but still lol i was playing Kalista and i was pretty fed bam he fucked me up in 2-3 seconds
If I remembered correctly, he's not considered weak. He's considered boring, outdated and has a toxic kit that needs to be reworked.
One of the strongest lane bullies in the game, the only issue people really have is that he honestly doesn't really do much late game. In team fights he's just an ult bot, and acts as sort of a weaker version of a modern juggernaut (He has a lot of AD scaling magic damage in his kit, which he can't really build into once people have resists)

No mobility is the core issue, as you will very commonly find situations where you just can't keep up with anyone. Also while he has obscenely high damage (5.0 AD ratio I think) it's all over time with minimal burst which really exasperates the mobility problem.
Mostly I just use him to hard counter Teemo top.
He is a lane bully but frankly... he just doesn't bully hard enough and he falls off too hard with little team utility outside of an ult that nobody on your team knows how to play with anyways.
I mainly use him as counters to many broken champions because Yorick simply cant die in lane if you play it right, and can harass about anyone in the game. But no mobility and barely any CC with mediocre damage late game makes him very unreliable if he doesnt get ahead in lane. Can be kited and focused down for days.
It's because he's only oppressive in laning phase but then basically becomes a glorified siege minion after that.
