i understand you can HASAGIII every 1.6 seconds and you dashing between minions because Riot decided to make a urf mode champion

I understand you have the mastery 6 emblem and you love showing it after you kill a 200 hp adc or a tank which you melted in 2-3 seconds because you for some reason get 50% armor penetration after you ult

I understand you counter 99% of the mid laners and if you dont counter them you actually are a ''fair'' matchup..

I understand you throw your windwall and completely negate half the roster and every ADC in the game for 4 seconds

I understand you somehow think your champion is beyond weak despite being the #1 played champion in the game in all regions folllowed by a 52% win rate

I understand you for some odd reason build 2 items and end up with 100% crit

I understand you love to press R even tho going into the enemy team would be the dumbest idea and throw the game at 50 minutes because you for some reason thought you can 1v5.

And you know what?

I disagree with this part. CertainlyT is by far the best designer I've seen in the game, it's just that his champions tend to be too good overall, so they crush the other designers' champions, because, well, the other designers suck compared to him.

This was by far the most out of nowhere, clunkiest, mismatched, piece of a kit I've ever seen.

[P] Lets give him a tankier passive that falls off faster, and rather than making the shield part better for the player lets not let them see any growth. We'll just make his passive into a Malphite passive that scales bigger.

[Q] I want to bring Mordekaiser down into bot lane, and in order to do this, I need to take away the range on this ability and its ability to strike up to +3 targets and make it into a glass cannon. Getting up close to a marksman shouldn't be hard now that its melee ranged and it takes 3 hits to get some real damage. (Scratch that, his final hit is too strong, lets nerf it.)

[W] We need Mordekaiser to remain tanky. Lets get rid of his bonus armor and magic resist and replace it with an ability that costs health to retake health. It makes sense. It still deals damage but requires you to use it on an ally. Oh, and I just thought of something! Lets make it so that it gives him bonus MS if near an ally. We'll just have to take off about 15 from his normal MS and it'll be fine.

[E] I like this ability, but it seems like all it does is poke... I know! This will now be his only ability that gives him any shield. OH, and lets add AD into it so that he seems like a ADC too.

[R] Hey guys, how cool would Mordekaiser be if he had his own pet dragon? I'm thinking about letting him kill the dragon and keep it as a pet for a little while, as a passive.

Impressive fanboy logic you have there. Unfortunately, CertainlyT wouldn't know a healthy design if Vel'Koz crawled out of his monitor and strangled him. He doesn't have a fucking clue how to design a healthy and balanced champion, and never has.

Good or bad yasuo player, the champion just isn't fun to play against.

Zero limiting factors, constant mobility when in lane, a vague functionality on his W, and basically an extra auto attack that's a skill shot, w/ a knock up every 3rd cast.

Which is why i loved playing against him on the pre-rework malzahar. Nothing was more satisfying than locking his annoying ass down in place, until he was dead.

the problem has never been that his mobility is "infinite", it has to do more with the fact that there's no counterplay to it. I can't kill my own creeps to stop him from dashing to them, and that's pretty lame. All of the agency in the lane is on Yasuo to misplay by either engaging as his creep wave dies (denying him an exit) or incorrectly managing his dashes unless you happen to be one of the few champs that have good lanes against Yasuo (or at least decent ones - people like Katarina who can easily dodge his tornado with shunpo or Annie who can drop tibbers on him). I think that's why most people hate playing against him - it just never really feels like he "outplayed" you, because if he makes his gameplay decisions properly there's very little you can do to stop him (barring kit counters like I said above)

If I was mid laner for my team and enemy mid picked Yasuo first I would chuckle to myself and pick Darius or some other scary juggernaut and dunk his ass :)

  1. bait his windwall, flash around it, use zhonya when he hasagi's, kill all of your own minions so he can't get away, break past his tanky ass-shield, dodge his broken Q hitbox, build a randuins to get rid of some of that crit.

Well... ;) At least you said, that youre a casual right from the start. I really dont understand, why there are so many threads about poor Yasuo. I can name you at least 40 champs, whos A LOT better, than him early, and who can (withous junglers) DESTROY his lane, so he will never build that 100% crit, that you all hate for some reason, YET i CANT name you even... well... i dont know... more than 3 champs, who got problems against him, if youre not absolute potato. And no, i dont main yasuo. I actually like playing him, but i cant pick him a lot. Guess why? Hes super fking weak in most lanes and against most comps. Yeah, there are sometimes miracles, like Orianna ult 4 people, but its SO RARE. So please ;) Keep it real. Hes not that easy to deal with sometimes, but saying, that hes op is just laughable. Also its Hasagiii every 1.33.

It's common knowledge that yasuo isn't op it's just that he's Incredibly frustrating to play against as there isn't really a way for you to outplay him you have to wait for him to make a mistake.

Honestly Yasuo wouldn't be half as frustrating if he didn't have his windwall or his shield passive. Hell, if he didn't have those defensive tools I'd be fine with him having the double crit that does full damage instead of reduced damage.

The problem is that he can go fucking PD into tank items and make IE last item. And still shred an entire team.

The problem is that I've played against PD BVEIL SPIRIT VISAGE GUARDIAN ANGEL Yasuo and he still killed my entire team, because he got 60% crit from a single fucking item.

Nobody thinks Yasuo is overpowered. We think his kit is overloaded. There is a difference.

yasuo is in evry way a toxic champion

in the game some champ's have a weak early or a strong late but a champ thats balanced

doesn't have bolth yasuo on the other hand is Always strong even when masivly behind

shure at lvl 1-6 his power is manageble somewhet but when he gets that 100 procent crit he can and will kill you

the thing is they say yasuo has a whek early game

thats something i never got his early power is on par with most mid/top laners and even grater then those weak early champs

  • all his solo utilety his passive shield his wall and his low cooldown dach makes him 1 of the if not the safest champ to play in game

se even if he is weak for the first 3 lvl's you cant set him back that eazy

and even if you do his crit maked it posible for a 0-9999-0 yasuo to 1shot ALL carry's and if he ult's the tanks will get hurt alot

yasuo is a champ that you cant do bad with thats why he is picked up by the ragers and the flamers

yasuo is what riven one was

having a yasuo on your team now means (like with riven onece) you WILL have a toxic player and he will mess your game up

lemme explain a few things.

1: that dash only works to dodge stuff if A: you have no point/click abilites, or B: you decide to throw stuff at where he is currently, while he is running around a minion wave. He isn't super mobile, you just have crap accuracy.

2: A behind yas is crap, just like everyone else. True, if he gets full build, he is just as damagey as a good yas with full build, but that doesn't mean he'll do anything with it, becasue

3: Yas might not be super hard (although I think he is), but he requires massive amounts of concentration. Have you ever played him? He has to dodge EVERYTHING, or he dies. Or he has to stick a massive amount of lifesteal in his biuld, but he still has to dodge all the cc, or he still dies. Also, incase you didn't know, that 1 sec dash requires a minion that he hasn't dashed through in a long time. It isn't a lucian dash on a tiny cd. So, he has to manage his minions like he knows the future, cause if he dashes for farm, he probably wont be able to dash to get a kill, or to escape a gank.

4: His windwall isn't a galio ult. You don't have to throw your ult at it, he just baited it out of you. You could either walk around it, or wait the 4 seconds, then kill him.

5: That hasagi is easy to dodge, unless you're not paying attention. Also, it requires at least 12 seconds for the tornado to come up, if the yas hits every single tempest, and doesn't let it stay off cd. That's not much worse than a janna tornado.

6: also, yas does great in teamfights. No one can focus him, since he can be everywhere. And the moment he lands a tornado, he gets to ult the crap out of everyone, unless his team has a knockup, in which case he can ult the crap out of everyone sooner. Thus, I would suggest not grouping all the time, like people in bronze 5 are like to do, even if the enemy team is a darius, lux, yas, illaoi, and mf. Split push, or skirmish. Or play like bitches and try to get him to dive you. Basically, he sucks in 1v1 2v2 duels with no minions. ie jungle fights. So get some jungle fights going. push all the lalnes, but not all the way. gurilla warfare.

also I will save you my defense of Yasuo tirade... I've given up long ago no one listens and I just get down voted ...but if you wish to learn he is pretty easy to stomp in any lane and he has huge amounts of counters in every lane( you just have to learn instead of complaining) >.<

Why are people so deadset on ONLY taking AP champions against him mid, why are so people deadset on only following ONE meta and nothing else? Why not just take an AD champion against him and make him not get to play the game?

I take taliyah or viktor or cass against him and don't have much of a problem. I can drop rocks through his windwall that will make him suicide, or laser behind his windwall and AA over it with a q or ult him and shred his health while making it where he can't dash or ult with miasma. I'm terrible with kayle, but I know she pretty much hard counters him as well.

Jesus... I can't believe I just read that. I mean, every player that tried playing Yasuo knows that he's really really hard to master, like every single ability requires tons of practice to actually workout in a real fight. His Q, W, E, R, all of them work if and only if, you've screwed up so many times you can't really count. So what's there to hate when someone has tried really hard to master a champ and get rewarded because of his hard work? I main TF, I play him fairly good, but that doesn't mean I magically got good, I played many games, screwed up many times, lost and lost and lost and finally got it to a level that I can confidently pick him and be sure to win my lane most of the times. Every champion has unique mechanics, so does Yasuo. That clearly doesn't make him any better than other champions. If you can play someone like Riven pretty good, you can do what Yasuo players do with much harder work. Yasuo has Q every 1-2 seconds? So does Annie, and she can put a stun on its back every 2 seconds. His W blocks stuff? Malzahar has a free Banshee's veil that charges even sooner than the actual banshee's veil, and you can't even work around it like you can just go around Yasuo's wind wall. His dash? Fizz's kit? how about Lee? Can't they jump and dash around? and don't even get me started on his R... Landing it if you're not in a narrow space, is super hard and even if you decide to go Yolo and Q in first, there's a chance that the ult will get countered by Zhonya's or worse, you'll just get ulted by WW mid-through your Q and end up dying. Don't get me as a fan of Yasuo, I can't play him and I absolutely get wrecked by good Yasuo players; but, so do I by a good Riven, Darius, Yi, Lee, Veigar, Ahri, and basically, every other champ ever made! That's just the nature of it, you work hard to master a champ, you get rewarded by it. End of the story.
