Can we reduce the delay on Malzahar's auto attacks?

Like seriously, it takes 3 years for the auto attack to actually come out and hit the target. In between other minions, space aids, and voidlings, it's extremely hard to tell when you need to auto attack to get a last hit. You have to guess like over a second into the future what health the minion will be at and when you need to auto attack after taking into consideration all of the factors. This would be much easier if Malzahar didn't stop to drink a cup of coffee every time you right click on something.

I don't really have any trouble timing last hits on any champion except early game with Malzahar. Like yea, Swain and Anivia have weak auto attacks, but at least their auto attacks come out in a reasonable amount of time and their kit doesn't actively work against you trying to last hit.

I dunno. I feel like his auto animation is the price he pays for the power in his E

Edit: Specifically, on a champ with an already great winrate, they would likely have to reduce power elsewhere in his kit in order to give him a more responsive auto attack animation. I'd rather his AA suck and he have more power in his spells than the alternative.

That being said, i feel malzahar's ultimate is very limiting due to its power (and weakness) and I hope riot lumps him in with the immobile mage group rework.

Oh you didn't hear? Well you see Malzahar has to send advance notice that he's going to be preparing to auto attack for the next half an hour

I agree to this. I KNEW I wasn't imagining things anytime I touched Malzahar! If it's really true in timing that his auto attack is shitty, he deserves some love, much like others who have had their auto attack finally fixed semi-recently, including (coughZileancough) an old man.

Malz doesn't need AAs. Not when his point-click 4 second suppression manages to instakill you.

Get the timing down.

Be careful what you ask for. Riot may decide to note this thread and conclude that Malzahar's Voidlings should replace his auto-attacks.

Fun story: I learned to cs on Anivia's old autoattack. I actually loved it, it was so unique. Your cs timing was so different from other people's, there was a whole different lane dynamic, where your minion and your enemy's minions were dying at the same time, but you still had opportunities to harass each other. Also being able to walk under tower, aa your opponent, and walk back out before your projectile hit.

When they updated anivia's aa, it took me like a month to be able to cs again.

What the heck malzahar is the only mage that I've mastered csing with (I don't even play him very often)

I think it's actually really satisfying to cs with malzahar's AA for some reason

But if you're having trouble csing it won't matter because 10 minutes in you can push a lane without being there

It kinda fit thematically malzhar was a seer and seer see the future thus you have to predict the minion's hp. If they do give him a new aa it probably won't be until the immobile mage reworks come out

They need to change a lot of champions auto attacks. He isn't the only one with horrible Auto animations.
