Should I be dodging games

I personally never dodge games.

But I keep getting these teammates who have really low win rates like below 35%, or they've been losing a lot of games, low tier, or unranked. Then I always lose games with them.

Do you guys check team stats and dodge?

Sometimes. In Bronze, a lot of people have low winrates under 40%. Personally I look at current match history and see what kind of games they've been playing. I'll dodge if they have lost like ten in a row and have double digit deaths every game cause yeah, that's pretty much an auto-loss. I usually dodge Lux supports too cause they never build SS and they're usually awful.

But yeah I'd dodge anything under 30% if they've played 30+ games. Chances are they will make the game difficult or they are trolls.

Dodging doesn't affect mmr, so i dodge to get better quality games

Personally, I dodge AT LEAST once a day in ranked, often even more.

I look at it as if I'm not AT LEAST 60% sure of a win, I dodge. If I'm countered by 4-5 of their team, I dodge. If my team has an obviously tilted member, I dodge.

Doing so sometimes loses me more LP or time than the game would have(3 dodges in a day, for instance, is -26 LP and -65 minutes), but it doesn't lower my MMR like a normal loss. Due to dodging games that I'm SURE are losses, I've got my LP loss down to 14-17 per loss, and up to 23-26 per win. It really does pay off. If you KNOW that game is a loss, dodge the thing, don't waste your time.
