why can't you understand???

a champion simply cannot create a big ass circle, AND I MEAN A BIG. ASS. CIRCLE., that stuns????????? [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Why play a melee champion when you can simply press 1 button and insta zone the entire enemy team, meanwhile dealing 1000000 damage to anything that his spell touches, which also has NO COOLDOWN.

I agree that Veigar is OP but the nuke no longer scale with enemy stats. Check the wiki http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Veigar

Veigar is only broken if you let him get broken. His Passive is what can break him, but he has to earn it. He permanently gains 1 AP for killing any minion with his Q, and 1 for every skill he hits a champion with. But he is also the king of squishy and easy to counter.

His stun field is pretty easy to both avoid and counter. Morgana , for example, can Black Shield and walk right through it. Sivir can essentially do the same thing.

Do you know what Magic Resist is and how to dodge skill shots even marginally well? Then you counter Veigar.

Are you at half health and Veigar is over level 6? Go heal because his ultimate scales on missing health.

There are a number of different ways to avoid him, counter him, and not allow him to become a wrecking ball. He can't disengage, every attack he has is a skill shot except for his ultimate, and he can't sustain at all. If you have trouble with him, that's on you.

The only place Veiger is broken is ARAM, and no one cares about ARAM.

He's broken because all he has to do is PUT DOWN THE CIRCLE. He's good damage is just a bonus

And of course he can disengage, he puts down a stun circle THAT IS THE SIZE OF CHOGATH WITH LULU ULT AND STRENGTH POT. And that circle stays for 10 seconds????????

It's basically Jarvan ult except you can't hop over its wall. Stop trying to defend Veigar he's broken op and you know it

It only stuns you if you hit the border. His W doesn't fill the circle so you can dodge it within. You can also simply flash over it and show Veigar what pain really is. Ezreal can E right through it. Sivir can E right through it. You can purposefully walk into it, QSS, and proceed to spanking him with any champion. If he blows his load, he's helpless for 10+ seconds, and his stun field has a massive cooldown that is easily negated by multiple champions and a 1300 gold item.

Getting picked off by his scaling ultimate is all he really has, and you can even counter that with a item 3157 .

He's strong, and can become a rift wrecking menace, but he's far from over-powered.

Like I said, he's broken op because in teamfights he just circles and zones everyone for the team.

I just take Cleanse in lane and consider him useless. Then I end the game before he gets any reasonable amount of AP.

Veigar and Teemo are the 2 champions I consider a free win.

To be honest in low elo he's "broken" in the sense that if the game gets to late game and you have 2 or 3 idiots who will keep getting hit by his Cage... NOTHING can save your team. NOTHING.

But in any decent elo where people know how to dodge, he's worth a lot less.

Otherwise, everything except his R is VERY telegraphed and easy to dodge.

I know this is old and stuff, but veigar isn't exactly broken. Late game he becomes a 1 click monster, but early game he is bad. If you play champions like Swain, Leblanc or Orianna, you can counter Veigar pretty hard: Swain's high early game damage and sustain, as well as CC is perfect on immobile targets, like Veigar. Swain can shut the game down early, before your adc can feed him. Leblanc has very high mobility, enough that she can quickly leave his circle as Veigar is summoning it. Her dashes/teleports also help her dodge his other basic abilities. To top it off, her early game, and late game burst is crazy high, allowing her to dash in, delete, then dash out, preventing Veigar from getting kills. Orianna has very high and flexible range with her ball, which can help her burst Veigar from afar. Her ult can pull veigar or others into (or out of) the circle, helping your team get kills. Even if a fight goes south and you need to retreat, Orianna's W can help your whole team disengage.

The trick to stopping Veigar is to not only shut him down early, but the game as well. Split pushing top laners can help achieve the latter. Basically the true counter to Veigar is early game pressure
