This game is not fun anymore for me

Most of the time if you're having fun then someone else isn't, league is ruled by all the strongs champions, RNG numbers make it boring, so many simplistic champions with strong kits, burst is not fun at all, getting 0/100'd by a tank isn't fun, you have to play so serious or you have no chance of winning, you can't even have fun in normals.... wanna try an off meta pick? you'll probably lose and get flamed because league is ruled by OP champions and toxic trash, wanna have fun in a sandbox mode? Too bad... Honestly this may not be the same for others but I just don't find league fun anymore and I'm highly considering just not playing, it anymore.

I remember the days where league was fun but it just isn't anymore...

List of unfun things in league:

Stealth Crit Falling Behind Toxic players Doing well and not being able to carry because your champ is not strong enough / your team is not good enough (Not blaming bad teams on anything but getting stomped because you're doing well but your team under preforms isn't fun in the slightest and feels completely discouraging ) Getting bursted Versing unkillable tanks Getting kited to death Champions living on low health Making a mistake and getting heavily punished for it. Doing better than somebody but their champion can still fight you. Missclicking. Teleport. Getting ganked by a jungler / 1v2 + Dying Red side of the map Every champion in the game is antifun to play against

Now I know this is a long list but like all these things attribute to it being boring, there are some fun things but they just are outweighed, league isn't the same anymore :/

You sound like you just don't feel like playing a competitive game. Go play something singleplayer for a while and maybe you'll get the urge to play league or something competitive again after you've done your pve thing for a bit. That's what helps me whenever I get particularly annoyed with this or any other pvp game.

League isn't just a competitive game, it's a game where you're not free to have fun you're only allowed to have fun within its limits, if you know what I mean.

That's just the nature of a pvp game. As long as 'winning' or otherwise performing well is an important aspect of your fun, you're gonna have to restrict yourself from doing things that are just bad decisions because it will put you at a disadvantage if you're consistently making more mistakes than your enemies.

They want to win too you know, just because you want to go adc heimerdinger or whatever doesn't mean that the other players on the other team are going to know or care about that in blind pick and it's not the game's fault you took something sub-optimal.

It's true for any pvp game, on a pc or in real life. If you're playing tennis there are rules that define how the game goes and there are metagame rules that you follow if you want to win or not get stomped. You can technically serve the ball using anything, even a gentle underhanded tap over the net, as long as it goes into the box. It will get hit back so hard at such a sharp angle that you'll instantly lose the point probably, but you have the option the same as you have the option in league to do things that aren't good like not warding or going with a kill lane instead of an adc + support. If you decide when playing tennis that you only want to hit forehands from the baseline and it's not fun for you to have to hit backhands or go to the net and volley or whatever, that's not the game's fault for being boring or restrictive. It's a personal lack of interest.

So just go do something else for a while, and if you want to come back later the game will always be here.

The thing is league used to be fun but now it's not, you used to be able to do crazy things and have loads of fun doing them and do well but nowadays you have such strong champions that you just can't afford to, and if you do well with these champions then all it takes is a strong champion who is not even doing near as well to be strong enough to fight you, the counter system is annoying and takes away from personal skill, the bounty system punishes you for doing well, champions like veigar punish you for doing well, there's such a strongly enforced META now, you have the support items, the whole jungle smite things, it's so complicated, I remember when league was simplistic and fun, I get it's a pvp game but it's turning more into a pvp competition to the stage where casual games aren't even fun because if you play casually then you'll get stomped because champions and the game are geared so it's possible for people to absolutely stomp, sure somebody should still be able to win but League doesn't even feel like a game anymore, Riot don't care about solo queue or normals, infact the server I play in (OCE) doesn't even have all the gamemodes, league is a team game where you can't even rely on your team most of the time, it's just not like it used to be and the reasons i played it before aren't here anymore.

Dunno what else to tell you. Stop playing for a while and come back if you feel like it, or don't. That's a better plan than just playing to while unsatisfied like you are.

League used to be fun, It isn't anymore, all the new changes everything, the last time league felt truly fun was back in season 3

I completely agree with the op. Anyone who says go do that or you are not good bla bla bla has surely lost a few games in a row due to these changes. I personally stopped playing when Season 5 started because it wasn´t the same anymore it wasn´t fun anymore. I used to see a lot more comebacks now people die so much in this game and it snowballs so much it´s not fun to play. Imagine you are in a ranked match and you are losing by a lot and your team doesn´t surrender so you hopelessely play and die multiple times. If that´s riots idea of fun good luck then also this new patch 6.1 its gonna be even worse.

I just hate how you can't play league for fun and still do well against anyone who knows what they're doing,

No it's not, because sometimes you have fun in league and most of the time you don't, I'll admit, I'm not a good player, and there's no place for people like me to have fun, sure customs are cool but league is 100% competitive, it's really hard to have fun in league, everything about it just makes it so boring, getting stomped, getting thrashed, and when you're doing well then somebody else is feeling like trash, the old logic was ranked for competitive and normals for fun, normals aren't even fun either anymore.

Had same feeling till I started rapidly improving my LoL-Knowledge with facing better and worse players successively. You'll know what I mean when you reach that kind of level (don't want to make it sound as bad as it does :X sry I hope you now what I mean). I hadn't had that much fun at normals either before I considered that I'm actually playing better than a bunch of other players and everything I do is fine.

Well..no offense,but i find the game to be still pretty entertaining for me.I just don't spend my whole day on it and because of that i'm never bored of it. I like seeing the changes,the skins,the rankeds the arams etc... If something isn't funny anymore,just stop and try another game.
