They made it so you can't buy pinks anymore late... And that red sweeper really isn't sufficient, the old fashioned "buy pinks" no longer works late anymore...

Sevixys2 votesThe problem is: you definitely Do know when vayne is Close to you while stealth (after all, her stealth is only for her q). But you can't target vayne properly without a Pink ward.

Owltears2 votesThe mandrake wards had a huge bug of if you placed them near the bot bush near the krugs (rock monsters) and then recalled and bought different ward or a sightstone you could place an UNLIMITED amount of wards all over the map, so long as the mandrake ward was not destroyed or timed out.
To my knowledge the bug hasn't been fixed and/or they stopped trying to fix it.

The mandrake ward had a ton of bugs, but it was left unreleased in the end because they didn't think it was a good item, not because it was too hard to bugfix it. They didn't like that mandrake wards could alert you to the presence of enemy champions without you having to look at the map, because it made map awareness less important.
It probably had other problems regarding game design but that's one I remember them mentioning.

My Waifu Vanilla1 votesAkali is already countered for free with red trinket since while you cannot auto her under it you can easily hit her with every skillshot in the book and see which way she is exiting the shroud thus still being free kills.

How about they give us the chance to give up on our trinket to be able to carry a pink ward in that slot? Or rather, they could just add a trinket which is basically a pink ward, but you have to spend 75 gold at base to recharge it (only 1 charge) and it counts for your pink ward limit. That way there is trade-off, since we give up on a useful trinket to be able to carry a pink around.

Why are you assuming anyone is being caught? Are you even aware of what Vayne's ult even does? If someone is ever caught out she's not even using her stealth.

ForeverLaxx3 votesThe real problem with this philosophy is that Riot expects every player, including the support, to be six-slotted eventually so they have to be "balanced" with a full build. What this does is that it leaves no one with an open slot to carry any kind of counter-stealth measures. Since all mages and supports are designed with item scaling, that leaves fewer slots open for what you could call "pure utility" items. If these two classes had more upfront power with weaker scaling, they could afford to leave a slot or two open for wards or other utility and this wouldn't be the issue it is today.
Unfortunately, it's far too late for League to adopt this method as Riot would also have to go through the list of available items and rebalance/remove a lot of them. But this is the design of League, and we'll just have to deal with Riot trying to find an answer to a problem they created for themselves.

Maybe instead of stealth he gains the ability to jump over terrain a few times? That would pair well with movement speed and it would also fit his lion type theme.
