One tank may be weak but 3 tanks on one team is unbeatable.

Being the only tank on your team may feel useless and bad, but have u guys ever seen how gamebreakingly powerfull it is to run 3 tanks on the same team?

Here is a match where my team did just that. http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/1712212426/210258077?tab=overview I was mid talon and i joined the game late, fed relentlessly and even took a poop break in the middle of the match... yet my 3 tank team + kogmaw was able to annihilate the enemy team no matter what they did.

In a 3 tank team it is impossible for the enemy team to engage, because all their immediate targets are tanks. When combined together all these tanks mediocre base dmg, along with their sunfire capes becomes ADC melting burst and what u are left with is an unloseable game. I didn't have to do anything this match, i just rode on the back of my tanky team.

So, before u complain about how weak tanks are, consider how broken they are when u have more than one.

Either way one game doesn't prove my point. In any game the team with the largest number of extremely tanky champions will typically scale better into the late game.

Volibear + Amumu + Leona = unbeatable late game

Nasus + taric + Nautiluss = GGGG

Wheraas a team with only carries typically does well early, but gets shitted on late.

Yeah, I bet having an adc with less firepower(read: literally any other adc) wouldn't have hurt your chances, either.

This particular game doesn't matter, i just put it there because it inspired me to make the thread. The point in trying to make is that 3 tanks is the strongest teamcomp in solo-q

QQQ like i said i don't care if u are convinced or not. I think the strength of 3 tanks on one team is self evidence. If you cant accept obvious information im not going to spend my time trying to force you to.

But you literally haven't even made a single argument about it being good. Maybe I misunderstand you, and you are just trying to have a friendly chat about team compositions, but you sound more like you are trying to make an argument for the purpose of convincing people.

I'm not saying you are wrong, necessarily, I think a good frontline is really valuable when executed properly, but I'm just pointing out to you that you haven't really given any reason to back up your claim.

and then the enemy team kills your only damage dealers and you are left with nothing... then the enemy teams gets ahead and you are left with nothing... then the enemy team just takes objectives a lot faster and you are left with nothing... you don't get tanky all of a sudden and you will be left with little damage at the end of the game, you will need pretty darn good communication to protect the only damage dealers in your team because without them you will be left doing pathetic damage and unless the other team is really low there is little chance of you winning that fight. Since you also have only 2 damage dealers that means that even if you win the fight, if they both died you won't be able to push as hard as you could if you had a 3rd damage dealer. Let's not even begin when the enemy actually is organized enough to not shoot at everything that moves and focus fire on a single champion

The opponent didn't counterbuild at all. Carries should get their Void Staff/Last Whisper really early if they play against 3 tanks or they'll just lose. Pantheon did have a Black Cleaver but then the ADC needs to be intelligent enough to focus the one(s) that Pantheon used Heartseeker Strike on.
