Could you make gragas scale better off of ap?

The title.. or revert the W change. I like playing ap gragas in ranked for fun. He's been my main since forever and riot nerfed him more so he's the 5th lowest winrate champ again. Could you buff his ap scaling? It wouldn't make tank gragas op and I don't think the gragas W nerf was even necessary.

Edit: I'm saying make ap a bit more viable. Not to make his Q + R combo 1 shot people. Also I agree that tank gragas is good but I like playing him ap as well and the W nerf to the % hp was unnecessary.

My friend used to play Gragas AP. The pokes and 100-0s were brutal He was never the same after they changed him to a tank

AP mid Gragas used to be the way to play him back before they changed him around season 3. He was super degenerate and it made no sense why a big fat man was really squishy but able to 1-shot you with his barrel.
