Blade of the Ruined King was seriously over-buffed

All BotRK users this patch saw an substantial increase in winrate. Champions like KogMaw, Twitch and Tryndamere are flat out broken this patch (around 55 % winrate), while Yi, Xin, Vayne ect. also saw substantial spikes in winrates - even the gutted Kalista has a 51 % winrate now. The solution is extremely simple - give BotRK a sizable nerf, before touching the champs.

PS: This will be all over the forums 1-2 weeks from now. Act quickly this time.

Wait, neither Tryndamere nor Xin Zhao saw hardly ANY win rate increase, let alone a "spike" when new BoRK was introduced in patch 7.5.

Tryndamere - Win rate patch 7.4 - 51.3% vs patch 7.5 - 51.5%. Xin Zhao - Win rate patch 7.4 - 52.6% vs patch 7.5 52.7%

Hardly what I call broken...

Actually I think that new botrk is weaker

I prefer bork being strong, over edge of the night being strong

Man, just chill. A fat stack of the champions who have benefited from the new BotRK have been either really weak, like Lucian or have been completely out of the meta for a long time.

The second something becomes good doesn't mean it should immediately be stomped out the very next patch or something.

I mean, just nerfing certain extreme cases of champions who are doing too well makes more sense to me than to ruin item 3153 for every other champion that is just finally starting to see play again

It makes sense that they saw an increase in winrate. Botrk went from being almost never used because of how bad of an option it was to a decent option/good option.

Kalista also benefitted from the exhaust nerfs, which benefit her more than any other adc because the attack speed slow would fuck her jumps. Botrk is fine.

Are you sure this wasn't because of the Exhaust nerf? As not reducing attack speed is kinda a huge buff for those champions.

Ignoring the headache that is Tryndamere, I actually don't mind most of these champions. Especially Kog'Maw, I find him to be the most well designed ADC overall.
