Before the rework hit live: "UAAAAAAA item 3070 item 3070 Shacos numbers is hard nerfed, new stealth and ult is trash and a dumb gimmick. Shaco is SO HARD to play!!! Only us glorious mains play him!!!"

When the rework hit live, the Shacomains whined and whined and whined for a weak that they couldn't cheese the enemy jungler lvl 2 for Free Elo. "Shaco is destroyed, his identity is gone, i quit LoL"

AP shaco quicky rose to be the best champion in the game, of course due to actual smart Korean players, that realized he had the most broken kit in the game. Infact so broken, he was hotfixed. Shacomains whined and whined and whined "UAAAA he can't be in the spotlight (56 % winrate lul) without getting hard gutted, u leave him in the shitter, he is unplayable UAAAA"

The last week, Shaco had the 12th highest winrate on the Rift. "Completely gutted"... Maybe actual skilled players picked him up, while shacomains sit and cry in the corner?

Lastly, im sorry only like 10 ppl will see this post before Shacomains unleash an avalanche of downvotes ;)

People who go through the trouble of learning to play off meta champions and one trick them, usually do so because it's the only champion they've found that really clicks with them.

I'm not a shaco main. In fact, I hate playing assassins. But, I think it's really sad when off meta champs with a cult following get turned into monstrosities like rework Shaco. Even if the play style wasn't changed by basically forcing him to go AP (and it certainly was), all the people that OTPd Shaco are basically unable to play him now because of his ban rate.

As a otp myself? I really hope my champion is never so strong that I'm never allowed to play them. This isn't something we should be celebrating just because we don't like the champion it happened to.

As someone who mained shaco for a long time and plays him rather often,

Fuck off.

I don't care about his strength or damage or anything. His playstyle changed. It's not even worth ganking until level 6 anymore. If you're playing Ap shaco, your clears are complete shit, so by the time you're level 5 with q level 3 (when you can actually use it for ganking) the solo laners are already level 6 and can kill you because you have no damage or ult. The bot lane? suicide to try something there with stronger early game junglers always looking to get a snowball going and sitting around there. Ap shaco has very little damage alone, and the only reason he did/does so well was because of his insane synergy with items. That's where pretty much all his damage came from when he had the massive winrate. There's a reason his first items are lichbane, gunblade, and runic echoes: he can apply them all instantly. Any champ can build those items and instacheese squishies, but only shaco can't be seen until he wants to cheese the said squishies. It's not even a fun playstyle. It just feels gimmicky and shitty.

Moving on, AD shaco is much weaker until lategame than before. the level 2 cheese on an enemy jungler? sure, if the enemy was mentally damaged. Wards are a thing, you know. And if you didn't ward and survived the level 2 cheese, he boned himself because he relied on his e to clear camps without losing too much health (AS slow on monsters). If laners played completely safe, shaco naturally fell off until very late game if he didn't get the ball rolling.

So I'm sorry if you think all the shaco players were bitching, because rito turned my/our favorite champion into 1. a gimmicky piece of garbage, or 2. A champion with a completely different playstyle that is noticeably weaker until 40 minutes.

Well I would say the least whining group is the Teemo mains for the most part. EVERY new thing around vision has hurt him more except maybe his passive. But his ult is near useless except for the few random placements. item 3364 destroys his "minefield" and so does item 2055 now, at least pink ward only revealed them, but now they are actually disabled too.

But I have maybe only seen 10 or complaining/"whining" posts about this when I actually see a good point in their argument.

AP Shaco is such a gimmick. I can't rely on Riven to just go in on me, but she can just plop a control ward down. A lot of people got pissed off that Shaco relies on such a retarded gimmick instead of being able to counter jungle like he was supposed to.

No the Koreans realized Katarina had a broken kit and everyone was playing her. Stop spewing around random, retarded facts.

Now you got me there, I actually can't explain that. It might just be the mechanic of how you plop a box down without being seen, allowing for more successful ganks, and more snowballing. I actually can't explain that.

For real, just fuck off, you god damn whining adc mains. You guys always have a problem with everything. It's either itemization, snowballing, squishiness, etc, and I actually agree on some shit with you guys, but cut us some slack. The only successful rework in there was probably Katarina.

The only Shaco mains that were complaining about the changes are that AD Shaco was gutted for the benefit of AP, which was nerfed. AP is still good, not overtuned like it was at release, but AD is still in a terrible spot, which is what most Shaco mains are really going to complain about. I adapted to AP.

IDK man there's a few strong choices for this award:

-NERF ADCS crowd that were complaining riot wasn't making adc a completely useless role up until about 3 days ago, meanwhile everyone else playing already had realized adcs were pretty fuckin weak as is.

-I HATE GETTIN OUTPLAYED camp, spam the boards with NERF KALISTA, NERF ZED, NERF AZIR, NERF YASUO until each one is subsequently made stupidly bad. The complaints about zed and yasuo are especially ridiculous to me because they weren't/aren't that OP and aren't unhealthy kits.

-Everyone complaining their fav waifu's latest splash art wasn't a sexed up Barbie enough for them

And no one who knew how to play against Shaco let him "cheese the enemy jungler lvl 2 for Free Elo." Sounds like you hate Shaco and just want to laugh at the people who were upset about his identity and kit being changed despite an overwhelming amount of players stating he was the ideal assassin.

Shaco is a binary champion with a toxic play pattern. He will always either be overtuned or weak and he will always feel like shit to play against.
