Lucian and Ezreal are destroying bot lane diversity

Like, there's gotta be something that can be done about Lucian and Ezreal. In Plat+, Lucian and Ezreal sit at like...40% play rates a piece. This is getting ridiculous.

Riot said that they want Lucian weaker when fighting from a distance, right? And his Q makes it so he can poke outside of his normal 525 range, right? Why not have a slight damage decrease for targets hit outside of his 525 range by Q (cause light gets dimmer as it travels and he's literally shooting light so it makes sense)? Or perhaps shave a little bit of power off of his ult (it's always going to be miles better than what it used to be anyway)? Just do something about this guy.

In Ezreal's case...rework this champ into something more manageable or make it so his Q doesn't work with on-hits. The problem with Ezreal is that he sacrifices damage for safety, but marksmen are generally high risk/high reward. Insanely squishy with limited tools to save themselves, but if protected by and invested in by their team, they have high and consistent damage output that isn't very dependent on cds. Ezreal takes this design philosophy and blatantly goes in the other direction, and the result is that he's getting enough mileage while being extremely safer than most other adc picks to the point where he's almost ALWAYS on the Rift 24/7.

Can we get a fix up to bot lane? I still can't believe how we managed to have even less diversity down there than last year, given the reworks.

Bot lane's problems are not the ADCs. If it was the meta down there would've changed by now yet the same playstyle still dominates (Bursty mobile champions) only exception was when Jinx was overpowered.

When Jinx was strong, we at least had Trist/Vayne/Ashe/Sivir that could compete as viable picks somewhere nearing the latter half of season 5. Now it's JUST Ez and Lucian. A little Cait. Some Corki. But Ez and Lucian are straight stupid right now.

Yeah they rule bot lane hands down, AA Adc's can't compete

They actually have the worst win rates of all the adc's. Pretty much every other adc is doing better than them right now (except Vayne and Tristana).

Yea, but given how they're used by a shit ton of the population, being about 49% on win rate is mitigated by the HUGE play rate. It means that nearly anyone, at around any skill level, is just picking these guys up regardless of what the opposing lane/team comp is...and are still winning.

What about KogMaw

Hard to lose with this guy right now.

In all honesty, he's perma-banned so hard right now I forgot he was a thing.

But to be fair on that front, Riot's currently addressing him anyway. Eventually his W won't even give him attack speed iirc.

I think that mostly a community issue. There are many other strong carries and people just don't use them, or just play them horrible if they use them.
