Possible Lux Buff Solution Until Rework

Hi, guys.

As we all know, Riot’s been trying to find ways to help Lux out since she’s been struggling — being outclassed, unreliable, and all. I have a buff suggestion that could help her out until she gets her much needed rework (yes...she’s in dire need of one) one day. I think a big issue with Lux is her extremely long cooldowns (ESPECIALLY late game). After throwing their abilities out, I know all Lux players have thought the same thing at some point, “Well, what do I do now? Hope my team can finish them off.” So, what is the solution for now? I’m suggesting possibly allowing Lux to have the ability to reduce her ability cooldowns upon landing abilities on enemies (enemy heroes and epic monsters only would probably be best for the sake of this not being abused) (proccing the Illumination passive would give less of a cooldown reduction) (don’t think landing shield on allies should reward CDR). The goal is to reward good Lux players for landing their abilities at the right time rather than just throwing them out willy-nilly like I know a lot of Lux players do.

I think the feedback could go either way from everyone, but I’m open to any and all. And if you have suggestions, please post them here. Thank you.

Listen, until they nerf some of Lux's ridiculous safety, don't you call for buffs.

That’s a good idea. How about this? Landing a basic ability reduces the cooldown of Lux’s basic abilities by two seconds.

In what world is Lux struggling?

She doesn't need a better Katarina passive. Her cooldowns are also not terrible. She's immobile, that's her only problem, but she needs to stay immobile. IF you wanted to give her cooldown lowering abilities, it should ONLY work on basic abilities and only PROC on her passive.
