IT IS UNFAIR to have a Gold 5 in a Plat 1 Ranked, Silver 5 in Gold 1 round, etc.

What you are suggesting would be unbalanced because it would put you or another person with people they have no business fighting just because they are stuck in a rank they can't get out of/don't belong to.

I understand this and the point but let me explain the flaw, and its root is in the reward system. To say "If you have Gold MMR, you will fight with golds." is simply not true enough. Look at my previous comment, 3 plat 5s on the enemy team and me being silver 1 up to golds in our team. These odds are shifted against my favor. If my mmr is truly high enough to play with plats then my winrate will sustain around 50%
This means it will take me quite some time to actually make it to plat, yet my rank says im silver? If they differ so widely then somethings wrong. I should be rewarded for my mmr, not my rank if that is what matchmaking is based off of because rank has very little to do with anything if silvers are playing with plats. the gap is just too far to justify. If im silver 1, sure match me with golds, even like gold 2/3 but a 2 rank difference is too much to say well your mmr is high. If thats so then i shouldnt be in silver and i should be rewarded for my mmr, not my rank

Idk what johning is, and im not whining about the ranked system. But if you match me based off of my mmr then rewarding me for rank that deosnt match my mmr seems to be broken. I much prefer the old league rank system but whatever
